About Us

Anna Coy is a professional floral designer and owner of the award winning full service floral studio, Blooms in Hand located in Verona, NJ. 

Anna began her career with a background in fine art, earning a BFA in sculpture and furniture design. Having worked as a floral designer at a number of high-end studios as well as offering freelance assistance to event design companies all over the East coast, she has had the opportunity to learn from truly talented designers.

Applying that experience and knowledge she launched Blooms in Hand from a home studio in 2016 as a bouquet subscription service for Essex county New Jersey. Having found a perfect design studio in Verona New Jersey, Anna is offering wrapped bouquet subscriptions, workshops, event florals and hospitality design with a full team of talented designers. Having been named Best of Essex from Suburban Essex magazine 2019-2023, Best of  Montclair from Montclair Magazine 2018-2023 and Best of Morris and Essex for 2021 from Morris Essex Health and Life and Favorite Florist from The Montclair Girl, Anna and her team always work hard to design their best. 

 

Anna has had the privilege to become a new instructor at the New York Botanical Gardens and has recently been featured on CNBC. Keep watching because they know there is so much more on the horizon.
