I am thrilled to be able to offer this hands on garden flor workshop at our favorite local farm. We are being invited by our friends at City Green located in Clifton for a unique evening of gardens and flowers!
We will have the opportunity to meet their team, get to know the amazing farm and then head to the garden beds where you will get to harvest your own blooms to be used in a floral arranging workshop that I will lead. The farmers have been working hard growing even more flowers just for our evening. If you don't know me yet, I am the owner of Blooms in Hand and have been a professional floral designer for 18 years.
City Green will also have light bites and wine to sip for our sunset harvest. There will be a Popup market setup for your produce shopping and this evening will truly be one to remember!
A little bit about City Green:
City Green is a nonprofit farming and gardening organization, based in Clifton, New Jersey. City Green’s Farm Eco-Center is home to educational programs, volunteer opportunities, farm stands, and a wide range of events. The Farm Eco-Center is a model of sustainable, community-based urban farming, and a vibrant, living example of food production in harmony with the ecosystem.
Refunds: There are no refunds. If you are unable to attend the evening or rain date the following evening your ticket will be considered a donation to city green. Materials, refreshments and staff are planned in advance. You may transfer your ticket.
This event is an important fundraiser for their continued educational efforts and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
Notes: Plan to dress for garden walking, close toed shoes preferred. Bring bug spray just in case.
